ADMINISTRATION
Documentation $195.00
Completion and filing of all documents necessary to carry out the services and supplies requested, including, but not limited to, death registration, burial permit, coroner’s certificate for cremation, documentation necessary to ship the body out of the country. As part of this service, we will provide you with 10 proof of death certificates; such certificates are usually accepted for most estate settlement purposes, but sometimes a Provincial Death Certificate will be necessary and is available from the Office of the Registrar General.
AUTOMOBILES
Initial Transfer of Remains $295.00
This includes the transfer of the deceased from the place of death to the funeral home. For example hospital to our premises using a transfer vehicle and one staff for distances not exceeding 10km. A charge applies for each transportation request. Additional staff service charge for removal from a residence or other non-institutional setting may apply. Additional charge for the use of funeral coach (hearse) may apply.
Lead/Administration Vehicle $195.00
This vehicle may include any or all of the following, transportation of clergy to place of funeral rite and place of final disposition, leading of funeral procession. This vehicle is used by our staff in making arrangements, picking up and filing documentation necessary for our services and any other trips that are necessary in conjunction with the services being performed by us.
Funeral Coach $395.00
This vehicle includes the transportation of the deceased from our facility to the place of service and to the place of the final disposition.
Utility Vehicle $195.00
This vehicle includes the local delivery of floral tributes to cemetery, church or other locations when instructed by the family, and/or necessary equipment for visitation or ceremony at a different location other than the funeral home.
Transfer Remains to Crematorium $295.00
This includes the transfer of the deceased from the funeral home to the crematorium. For example from our premises to the crematorium using a transfer vehicle and one staff. Additional staff service charge for may apply if needed. Additional charge for the use of funeral coach (hearse) may apply.
EMBALMING
Basic Preparation of Remains $295.00
The preparation of the body for placement into the casket, including bathing, dressing and the setting of facial features for identification or viewing without embalming.
Embalming of Remains $495.00
Embalming is the process of replacing blood and bodily fluids with chemical preservatives. It is a process of sanitation, restoration and temporary preservation. Embalming is not legally required, but may be recommended to preserve the body between the time of death and the visitation or disposition of the deceased. Our professional funeral directors will make a recommendation based on the condition of the body and expected service needs.
Embalming of Remains – Autopsy Case $695.00
Protective/Disinfective $195.00
A case by case determination by the funeral home as to whether additional personal protective equipment, disinfecting and sanitization will be necessary. If infectious disease measures are required an additional equipment and supplies surcharge applies. Includes all necessary equipment and supplies for staff for safe disinfection and sanitization of the deceased and facilities.
FACILITIES
Basic Facilities $295.00
Use of our general and common areas, parking lot, public washrooms, heating, lighting and maintenance. It also includes the equipment use in preparing contract, correspondence and other support functions, cleaning, maintenance of the premises and grounds, reception and telephone coverage.
Facilities for Preparation, Embalming, Shelter $195.00
Facilities used to prepare, embalm and/or shelter the body; this charge applies whenever the body is in our facility for any purpose. Includes all necessary equipment for professional or sanitary care of the deceased together with a room for this purpose. It includes the necessary equipment and gear for our embalming staff to use in order to put us in compliance with W.H.M.I.S. regulations, as well as the Occupational Health & Safety Act (Bill 208).
Facilities for Visitation (requires staff services for visitation) $800.00
Designated facilities used for visitation for up to 4 hours (private family time prior to and following the visitations are at an additional cost and will be added when applicable). Includes our facilities for reception of friends and relatives and may include any or all of the following, register stand, casket bier, flower and donation stands, sound system and religious equipment.
Facilities for Ceremony (requires staff services for ceremony) $495.00
Designated facilities at our Funeral Home used for the ceremony or memorial service. This includes use of our premises, furnishings, and equipment the day of the ceremony. This may include any or all of the following, lectern, organ, sound equipment, religious equipment, flower and donation card display stands, casket bier, flower, donation stands.
PROFESSIONAL & STAFF SERVICES
Professional Services $995.00
Professional consultation with licensed personnel, which may include but is not limited to, expert advice on options to meet your needs, including essential services relating to disposition, drafting notices, planning scheduling of services, advising regarding possible government benefits. A basic professional services fee is payable whenever we provide services to you. This service also includes, but is not limited to, the availability and work done by our funeral director on behalf of the purchaser, providing a post funeral follow up to assist and advise the family of the many necessary details to be handled. It also includes basic staff, in the preparation of documents, correspondence and other support functions, booking staffing, cleaning, of premises and grounds, staffing office and telephone coverage, upkeep of permanent records, accounting, legal, advertising and public awareness fees. Coordination of all activities, rites and ceremonies, before, during and after they have been provided, including services and supplies provided by us, as well as those provided by third party suppliers, such as flowers and death notices. This would include the coordination and directing services of our staff and agents with those of the hospital, nursing home, cemetery or crematorium in transferring the deceased from the place of death and making the necessary arrangements for final disposition.
Staff Services for Visitation $800.00
Staff to coordinate and oversee the visitation (informal gathering) at our premises for a period up to 4 hours (private family time prior to and following the visitations are at an additional cost and will be added when applicable). This may include any or all of the following, but is not limited to, preparing for visitation, staffing during visitation and other duties associated with visitation such as cleaning, preparations for funeral service located at funeral home or church or other location, staff to direct and assist with the visitation for a period of time up to 4 hours in length. This service would also include receiving, arranging and local delivery of flowers, coordinating parking of vehicles, donations, etc. If the visitation takes place at an off site location, a visitation offsite (see below) charges will apply, including preparation, travel time and setup.
Staff Services for Ceremony $695.00
Staff to coordinate and oversee the ceremony or memorial at our premises or at another location. If the ceremony takes place at an offsite location, a ceremony offsite charge will apply (see below), including preparation, travel time and setup. This service includes, but is not limited to, the availability and work done by our funeral director on behalf of the purchaser. This would include the coordination and directing the services of our staff. It also includes the services of our support staff in preparing contract, correspondence and other support functions, booking staffing, cleaning, maintenance of the premises and grounds, reception and telephone coverage.
OTHER SERVICES
Ceremony Offsite $495.00
Includes the facilities, necessary staff to prepare, deliver, setup the equipment necessary for a ceremony at a location other than the funeral home. Supplies, flower stands, audio, biers, lecterns, and furnishings as needed. Charges apply for each for each ceremony setup. (required for all offsite ceremonies)
Visitation Offsite $495.00
Includes the facilities, necessary staff to prepare, deliver, setup the equipment necessary for a visitation at a location other than the funeral home. Supplies, flower stands, audio, biers, lecterns, and furnishings as needed. Charges apply for each for each visitation setup. (required for all offsite visitations)
Waiting Fee $395.00
This fee applies when the funeral staff does not go directly to the cemetery following the service. Up to 1.5 hour delay.

Stationery Package $350.00
This includes the following, register book, memorial or prayer cards, thank you cards.
Memorial Video $295.00
This may include any or all of the following, digital copying of photographs to usb, one keepsake copy, use of a television for visitation, use of lcd projector and projection screen in our chapel.
Staff Services for Visitation (per hour)
Staff to coordinate and oversee the visitation (informal gathering) for a period which exceeds the basic period selected. A rate of $200.00 per hour applies.
Facilities for Visitation (per hour, requires staff services for visitation)
Designated facilities used for visitation which exceeds the basic period selected. A rate of 200.00 per hour applies.
Additional Staff
Additional staff member required for services. $195.00
Staff Services for Committal (weekday) $295.00
This service may include any or all of the following, arrangement of clergy, sand or holy water.
Staff Services for Direct Burial $995.00
This service may include any or all of the following, arrangement of clergy, sand or holy water.
Visual Equipment $195.00
LCD monitor, projector as available to display memorial video; this fee is included in the purchase of a memorial video as it is required for the display of these products.
Staff Services for Reception
Includes the staff necessary to prepare, setup, monitor and clean up a post funeral gathering located in our reception room. This charge is based on a per reception basis of $95.00 per staff person.
Facilities for Reception $495.00
Facilities for a reception following the ceremony or service, which includes the set up of the facilities, the use of the facilities and amenities. Available to all families on a first come first serve basis. Not to interfere with visitations or services booked prior to and limited to a maximum of 1.5 hours.
Additional Staff for Transfer of Remains $95.00
This includes one additional staff for transfer of the deceased from the place of death to the funeral home. For example nursing home to our premises. Additional staff service charge for removal from a residence or other setting may apply.
Initial Transportation of Remains (add - use of funeral coach) $95.00
In addition to the initial transport remains charge we would substitute our funeral coach (hearse) in place of our transfer vehicle for transfer of the deceased from the place of death to the funeral home. For example hospital to our premises for distances not exceeding 10km. A charge applies for each transportation request. Additional staff service charge for removal from a residence or other setting may apply.
Saturday Services
For any services provided on a Saturday. $400.00
Sunday Services
For any services provided on a Sunday. $650.00
Statutory Holiday Services
For any services provided on a Statutory Holiday. $995.00
Transfer of Ashes
For the transfer of cremated remains into urn or other container. $95.00
Removal of Pacemaker $95.00
The removal and disposal of a pacemaker or implant carried out by a licensed professional.
Disinfection $95.00
Additional time, supplies and chemicals required to disinfect furnishings.
Fingerprint $95.00
Staff and supplies required to take a fingerprint of the deceased.
Death Certificate (each) $25.00
Death certificates are included in the documentation charges above. However, if documentation charges do not apply and there is need for a death certificate only, the authorized person (purchaser) in charge of the funeral may request one or more.
Mileage
Mileage traveled beyond 10km from our facility will be charged at $3.95 per kilometer (one way). There will be a charge for each individual vehicle.
Urn Bag
Velvet urn bag, colour may vary. $25.00
Professional Restorative Procedures
In some circumstances, additional restorative efforts beyond those captured in the standard embalming procedure are necessary to enhance the appearance of the deceased. In such cases, the funeral director will discuss the available options and their cost. Professional restorative procedures will be charged per hour.
Scattering of Cremated Remains
We will scatter cremated remains in accordance with Ontario and municipal laws and by-laws on land. Fees for scattering from a land or boat will be in addition to this charge and will be discussed upon request.
Environmental Service Surcharge
A charge for biohazard materials and disposal costs will be made in some circumstances; our professional staff will discuss this issue with you.
Refundable Deposit for Cremated Remains 350.00
When human remains are to be cremated, a refundable deposit will be required to be paid. If the cremated remains are not claimed within one year of the cremation, the deposit may be used to inter the cremated remains in common ground. If the cremated remains are claimed before they are interred, the deposit will be refunded.
DISBURSMENTS
Disbursements are items arranged for and possibly paid for on your behalf by us. You are expected to pay for these items at the time the contract is entered into. The following are some items that are often identified as disbursements.
Bereavement Authority of Ontario Consumer Protection Fee 30.00
Coroner’s fee – this is a fee charged by the coroner for issuing a certificate that allows cremation to take place. The fee is set by the Chief Coroner for Ontario.
Clergy Fee – this is an amount paid to the clergy for their services. In some cases the amount is set by the clergy, in others it is an amount to be determined by you.
Newspaper – these are charges for death notices placed in newspapers.
Municipal death registration fee – this is a fee charged by the local municipality to register the death. The fee is set by the municipality and may vary.
PAYMENT, FINANCING, FUNDING
Additional information about payment, financing, funding is available upon request.
PAYMENT
Unless otherwise specified, payment in full is due when signing the contract. Payment may be made by cash, cheque or credit card. Payment plans are also available to meet most budgets. Financing charges apply to payment plans. Beyond the allotted time, interest will be charged at a rate of 1.5%, which is equivalent to 18% per annum (APR).
IF YOU ARE PREPAYING FOR SERVICES OR SUPPLIES, PRE-AUTHORIZED CHEQUING IS ALSO AVAILABLE.
FINANCING
Our payment plan gives you the option of making payments over time. We offer a competitive financing program, administration fees and interest rates.
FUNDING
For your convenience, we offer two funding options when prepaying services or supplies. When prepaying, you pay for the services and supplies today and the money will be used to pay for the services and supplies when they are delivered at the time of death.
Trust: You may pay the money directly to us and we will place it in trust, where it will accrue interest until the contract is fulfilled (when the services and supplies are delivered) or the contract is cancelled.
OUTSIDE MERCANDISE (including caskets) ARE NOT ACCEPTED DUE TO INSURANCE LIABILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY, THE INTEGRITY AND GOODWILL OF THE FUNERAL HOME.
